Get a Library Card

A library card is the key to a whole world of learning and fun! Here's how to get your card for the Exeter Public Library.

If you live in Exeter...

Your library card is FREE! You'll need to come into the library with proof that you live in Exeter. For example:

  • a New Hampshire driver's license
  • a lease agreement
  • mail with your Exeter address printed on it

We might also ask for a picture ID.

If you don't live in Exeter, but own property here...

Your card is FREE, but you must show proof that you own real estate in Exeter. This would be a copy of the tax records for your property, showing the Exeter address of the property.

If you don't live or own property in Exeter...

Nonresidents must pay $70 a year per family to be members of the library. We will ask to see an ID with your address on it.

Come in and get your card today! For more information, call 603-772-3101.
